A BINGO tree on 100 days to ECCA 2019

To celebrate 100 days to ECCA 2019, BINGO and other ECCA organisers went to Parque Urbano do Vale da Montanha, a brand new park in Lisbon, to plant 100 trees on the beautiful sunny morning on 16 February!

The BINGO project planted one tree, an almond tree, by the project coordinator, Eng. Rafaela Matos, with a little help from her grandson and from the European Commission, represented by Diogo de Gusmão-Sørensen from DG-RTD.

This event was also joined by José Sá Fernandes (Councillor for the Environment, Green Structure, Climate and Energy of the Lisbon City Council) and Carlos Martins (Secretary of State for the Environment).
